No joke. Tupac really isn't the greatest ever. Maybe in Success, but other then that when it comes to music he wasn't. Though I think he is one of the greatest person ever.

yes it was a good joke, i dont think you've have ever listened to alot of tupac songs, not just those that make it to tv or the charts, his lyrics were and still is the best lyrics EVER and the way he brought it across when rapping it made you feel it. Anyway he is the Best and i would say over half the people in the world feels the same that knows Hip-pop ofcourse  ah btw he had success for a reason, those that you say are good but arent succesful well they werent for a reason.

Anyone who know Rap would say someone like Eric B. & Rakim, Big L (Had he not been killed). I could say a lot of other rappers who I think are better then Tupac. But honestly I don't care, I don't even listen to rap anymore.

I'd say is wasn't the best rapper in the sense of Rapping(hold it!..)
BUT the best rapper considering the fact that he made Hip Hop INTERESTING.
If he didn't win by his skills, then by his charisma and passion for it

He might not have been the best rapper, but his lyrics were about more than partying,
(but he did have loads of party tracks of course  )

His way of delivering the content of his songs was unique,
thats the old days -.-

now look at the new age Hip POP

Lil Waynes song Lollipop tops the charts with a voice box, synthesizer, lyrics about getting a blow job so mediocre that it everyone gets what he is saying and a chorus so repetitive it could pass as a dance/pop song.
(However, Lil Wayne keeps his freestyling talent concealed in this track.)

then
David Banner uses a verse from the song (Shawty say the ***** that she wit/with aint shit) and uses the same concept Lil Wayne used and even lands a charting position in th top 100

I want change because
Spoiler!

And Pan, youre right about the changing, they all want fame
but dead?

naah... Dr.Dre's Detox is coming (his final album) and i bet, this album will be awesome, hes been working for years for it...
Hes a legend, not only for his own music, but also for producing beats for Eminem, and other rappers
And with Eminem (hes lyrics are EPIC) working on a new album too, its not dead, but it is changing wich is :( ..

hiphop belongs in the underground and thats where it should be
