Fark I hate when movies make you sad!

Poor Sam.

Didn't make me sad. Didn't really like it.

It made me sad when the guy had to kill his dog and when the dog was hurt.

Loved the movie but the ending was way forced.

Left me very unsatisfied.

The dog lives on in out memory's.

The dog part was pretty sad but the rest of the movie was repugnant.

a good movie with a horrible lame ending.

Yeah that movie was different, that's why, IMO, it was so good. The story was amazing, but yea the ending was 2 shit for words.

That ending was better but not according to a guy who commented.

So what lol? Movies where the main character dies in the end are the best. These movies will stay in your head forever and you be thinking ''Why did he die? WHY?! WHY?! WHY?!''

If a movie does that to you, then it's one of the best movies, because you truly sympathised with the main character = great acting.

Lol, I can't believe people actually think that's why people didn't like that ending, people don't like the original ending because IT makes no sense, not the alt ending.

After he died, how the hell did the boy and the girl survive? How did they travel halfway across the country without getting killed by the nightwalkers (or whatever they're called), they just arrive in the day, get out of their car, oh, look at that, there are like a thousand people living here and oo they're having fun, and even though they survived with NO relation to the main character, somehow, they are all still HIS legend.

The alt ending is better in my opinion, but only by a little. It's still stupid, but it was at least savable, they should have just gotten rid of all that butterfly bullshit, and the main character should just somehow realize they want the female, and there shouldn't be any of that stupid "ooh I missed you" stuff (yeah, they don't say anything, but it's too long of a scene, and I thought they didn't breed or anything, so I don't get it).

In short: both endings sucked, but I think they should have stuck with the alt ending.
