This video is leaning towards a shock factor, but the information is good.

This would be very very bad, imagine trying to research, get new games, play games, porn, all of it paying per ip you visit. It would ruin the network as it is now!

Bullshit. For that to work, it would have to be all or nothing. If just one carrier doesn't agree to the deal, the whole conspiracy falls apart.

The idea being kicked around is a big enough problem to begin with though

well this has been going on for a while, and virgin is not the only one, comcast is doing it

and i remember there was some refrendum or something like that in boston and comcast just paid people to get to the meeting and sleep, while the activist were forced away

I doubt it because another company would simply provide internet without subscription fees and drive the competitors out of business or back to the old way, its just a dumb business move.

wouldn't pretty much all big companies try suing the internet company?
for instance take a look at Ebay or Ubisoft.

no1 would pay to go to ebay, therefor ebay doesn't earn anything.

and no1 would pay to read news about games that spread in little parts on all kind of sites.
ubisoft would stop selling due to lack of information on games.

companies can sue the providers bacause the providers are in their way of making money.

it's a one-sided competition
