Then they end up spending too much.



Some people use money rather than credit cards to limit their spendings, and they save a lot.




But, in your situation, you just needed for the necessity.

250 euro is around 400 dollar, not 500 =p but it's still much.

Like I said it is pounds and not euros, so I think it would be about 500.
The curtains I have bought are made to measure, they are not the normal crappy ready made you get in packets.

I have a good reason for putting the stuff on my credit card, my brother is coming down from Scotland in October and he will be staying in my bedroom with his girlfriend and his baby. My bedroom is half completed and I would like to get it ready for when he is down. I have been living here for nearly over a year with hardly anything, so some things are a luxury, like furniture and curtains.

For some reason I do that. I'm not really the guy that will spend too much on decorations. But then someone is coming and you need to give them a very good welcome. Specially a family which you haven't seen for a while.

Ur an interior designer, what's 250 pounds ;p
