Water on Mars

07.31.08. -- Laboratory tests aboard NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander have identified water in a soil sample. The lander's robotic arm delivered the sample Wednesday to an instrument that identifies vapors produced by the heating of samples.

Didn't they already found water, in those 2 (Discovery and Spirit i believe) rover landings....

well we got to survive 2012 before that :P

Anywayz, i wonder why can't just Mankind ship water to the planet, since our polar ice caps are melting making too much water for us.

So throw some to Mars and maybe it can turn into a paradise

So throw some to Mars and maybe it can turn into a paradise


that is very impractical, unless we get some kind of ship that can hold megamillion tons of water (and how would a heavy thing like that lift off the earth?), trying to take out water out of the ocean is like spitting into it to try to make it rise.

String a giant tube into space with the next space shuttle and tow it to a giant container, then pump the water into orbit.

The water has always been there, it's just that mankind has taken up to much room.



Edit: Forgot to add, if you have BF2 theres a mod based on the coloniztion of mars.
