So it keeps turning off.

not shutting down, just "whoomph" off.

Only does it when playing "heavy" games, like AOE3
I think its overheating. Fans arent clogged or anything, anything i can do to stop it without getting my screwdriver?

Could be lack of power.

But most likely overheating.

Try getting a cooling pad.

Double check that your fans are working and check the temps using a utility like PC Wizard.

back on my old laptop it used to shut down when i would do too much (play multiple games at once like counterstrike+ stall on sro). I'd be fine for a while then itd die on me cuz of my CPU temp. I got some free program that told me my core temps, cant remember the name but u should be able to find something by googling.

:O I need that program too!

When I bought my laptop, the person said if you're going to do some heavy gaming on it, then it might shut itself down from time to time, because when it gets to a certain temp., it will shut down automatically to prevent damage

Sweet, thanks Fudge :D

edit-

the tjmax. value means the max temp. my cores could be at right? And to lower the temp. I could obviously just get a cooling mat right?
