Existence of the universe

So some people say that the universe came to her current state thanks to evolution.
But doesnt everything in the universe have to come from somewhere ?
How did all the elements know what to do?
How did 'matter' come to this dimension?
Sorry for my bad English btw

Thats why there is a theory that the big bang happpened moments after a old universe died off.
And i have wondered that. How did the first atom form ( This is where people bring religion into th atmopshere, But how did god create himself?)

No matter how you think about it something came out of no where and the human mind isn't capable of understanding something like this yet.

Everything thats ever existed is a loop defined by the laws of time. Thats what i think of it, were all in a never ending time loop that keeps repeating itself. If we try to figure out why we exist well you really can't figure it out, it has always been and always shall be.

It might always be unfathomable for us humans, but it is one interesting topic..
( Here´s something a personal friend once wrote about it. I saved every line of it )
God IS an alien: Ironically, god evolved and THEN created mankind. See, the fact than anything exists is proof that nothing has ever been the state of existence, for it is logically impossible for something to come from nothing (remember, nothing means no space, dimension, or possibilty). From this we can posit that something has always existed. That brings us to the usual crossroads in this debate: either god has always existed (and created the universe) or the universe has always existed (independent of a creator). In either case, God is a certainty. Let me explain:
If you argue that the universe has always existed, you must also argue that the universe is infinite, because at no point in the physical universe can something and nothing co-exist (i.e., if the only thing that exists is a basketball, what's all around the basketball? Nothing? Infinite, dimensionless nothing containing a finite something?? Impossible.)
If the universe is infinite and eternal (space and time are one, remember) then presumably it has been doing its thing (whatever it is doing now) for an infinite span of time. now, look what the universe has done in the last 15 billion years? It created you. The universe is pretty predictable and deterministic, so if it created life once, in an infinite span of time how many times did it create life? Did all of those life forms die out, or did some of them evolve way beyond the stage we are at and figure out how to live forever? Maybe we had a race of super scientists that learned, over the span of a trillion years (thats nothing in an infinite span of time, mind you) complete mastery over the universe.
God as a super alien? Not so far fetched is it - using the concept of evolution! It really wouldn't even change our definition of God because in a universe without beginning or end how can one say that the creation of this super alien scientists did not happen an infinity ago?
Just keep two things in mind, if you remember nothing else: the universe is inifinite and infinity is the sum of all possibility. (in other words, in an infinite span of time, all possibilities WILL be realized). So, where are we now on that infinite timeline? Towards the beginning or towards the end? (What that means, basically, is that in an infinite universe, everything that can happen HAS happened.)

meh, very interesting point of view i might say, but what about other dimensions? Surely not all of them can count as being part of this universe therefore co-existing universes and theres that circle of existence evermore casting outwards into yonder.

I think he recieved an A+. ( But personally i think they gave him that to hide the fact that nobody understood what he was talking about, but it all sounded pretty important and long winded so it had to be right)

The....universe....was created...by evolution....that news to me....

Big Bang theory isn't evolution. It is theoretical physics.

Well I heard some weird shizz at Discovery Channel about the universe expanding with a gazillion of miles a second. And that the planets are getting further away from each other. Eventually every Farking ATOM (Yes the building blocks of every living creature and material) will be ripped apart and everything will be back to 0. And now the universe is as big again as an Atom itself. Now Everything will repeat itself again. Atoms will begin to split and the universe will expand.
Blablabla. soo forth.

Why do people use the same avatars, so annoying ='[.
The Big Bang - The Big Bullshit.
I don't really care how it happened, as long as we're on it and we continue to create technology, who cares? Historians suck, who wants to know about what happened thousands of years ago, it's all boring!

why does it matter how the universe was created? and even if we do figure it out, why would it still matter then?
its like arguing over how the dinosaurs died. Who cares if they really died by a meteor, the point is that they are dead and humans became the dominant species on this planet.

Well thats just dumb talk imo.
If we didn't have the knowledge we now have about history we would fall back to basics (if you know what I mean) And resulting in the destruction of the human race. Epic, lolz.

The argument that my religion (Islaam) uses is that God has always existed, he isnt created neither born. He is above time, materialism, wisdom, power, emotions and everything. Compare it with a circle, it has neither a beginning nor an end

Going back to basics for the US probably wouldn't be a bad thing.
& you're saying that if we didn't have history of what these monkey-men did back in the 'day'. Well who did they learn from? and who did those people who taught them learn it from? Eventually this stops, and it was created BY A HUMAN, we can live in trees and under palm leaves duhh.

i agree wit grim. everything came from somewhere, but people just choose to believe different things about where they came from. personally, i believe god created everything. if u really think about it, the idea of "god" makes a lot more sense than the universe forming from some explosion that no one can even say where the atoms that created the explosion came from. but thats just my personal view, not here to change anyones mind.

its those scientist who are always in the back room and discover math equations that tell them everything. no really i think they use a bunch of different things to decipher the age of our universe, to complex for me to even think about it never mind getting into it.

The light we see now from the stars has taken 100 thousends of years to get to us if not millions of years. But that are just stars close to earth. just outside OUR solarsystem(sth like that). there are like billions of solarsystems in the universe.
The further you look into space, the further you go back in time.
This is how they know about the big bang.
