Those vids were cool, specially the katana. But what kind of situation would you be in to even use a katana =\

IIRC people in Japan are allowed to carry their katanas around.

I still think one of the kung fu guys would have won.
They are smaller, more agile and way faster.
Sure one punch maybe doesnt knock you out, but I bet he would have fired off a lot more hits than the boxer would in a fight.

Speed is key, what does a knock out punch do if he cant hit it?

Cool i really liked the drunken style :P

But i think that the 2nd vid is a little "unfair" in the measurement of the striking power. Sure all of them are masters in their own technique but they have all so different body type, weight and strength. I mean, if the boxer would have the same skill as the kung fu master he probably would hit the dummy harder then this kung fu master in the clip. Just a thought though, what do you think? :)

I did Muay Thai-Kickboxing for over 9 years and I could only kick about 1300 pounds, but damn! That guy must be VERY strong in his legs.

Heh. The double-leg takedown. That's a classic from wrestling.

In most styles of kung fu size/strength dosnt play a very big part. A small person could easily overpower a much bigger/more muscular person if hes good at what he does.

Yeah but the test was measuring the force of the kicks and a smaller weaker person vs a bigger stronger person doing the same kick would have a different effect. Bruce less lee doing a spinning back kick =/= me doing a spinning back kick.

And it wouldn't matter any since of course muy thai came out on top. 8)
