Yes and no... You don't really gain weight BY skipping breakfast. What happens is that when you skip breakfast, your body will often think you're starving yourself, and whenever you eat your next meal, it will purposely store some of the food as fat for reserve. It's not too significant, but it's enough to matter. Best way to lose weight is to just eat 8 200-300 calorie meals a day. You will lose weight SOOO fast (I just lost 40 lbs in 60 days).

ever since I moved I didn't have breakfast any more, and I gained weight. So yes for me.
Your metabolism slows down when you skip breakfast I think.

Why don't you all eat 3 healthy meals a day and exercise. And if you are going to snack between meals then eat something healthy, like a piece of fruit...

8 small meals a day is MUCH better for you. When you eat, your body releases a hormone that activates your metabolism. This activation is not relative to how much you eat (well it is, but not by much). The more meals a day you have, the better (in moderation of course).

From my biochem memory (which isn't that good).
The hormones your referring to are insulin and glucagon.
They don't get released if your eat, but they are triggered by the amount of glucose in your blood.
High glucose levels > release of insuline, leading to breakdown of sugars in the blood and the creation of fat.
Low glucose levels > release of glucagon, leading to the release of sugars in the blood by breaking down fat and muscles.
But while your digesting, your body will use energy as well. Thus if you eat 8 small portions/day, your body will need to invest a lot more energy compared to eating 3 big ones and thus you'll lose weight, provided you eat healthy. Eating 8 bags of candy won't get you any skinnier.

Ok laugh at me, but I'm 14 and only 106 LBS, but after skipping breakfast often for about a year, I gained like 7 LBS. Yes, I was 100 LBS at 13.

I'm 15, 6'3 and weight 180 pounds, but I have no fat at all. It's pretty hard to believe, its most likely because of my height I'm not really sure. Anyways, DO NOT SKIP BREAKFAST, it's the most important meal of the day. You should eat a big breakfast, and medium-sized lunch, and a small dinner or no dinner at all.

I'm going to give you the fastest way EVER to lose weight. First off, take one week of extreme mental patience to pretty much starve yourself. Drink water, but honestly try to eat as little as possible. During this week, try to adjust your sleep pattern so that you can wake up at 8am with enough sleep. When you wake up after the week, go for a jog. Jog for as long as you can before you can't take anymore. Then come back and eat 2 eggs fried. Wait 2 hours, eat either canned tuna or canned chicken mixed with whatever, as long as it's low calories. Wait 2 hours, and drink a "muscle gaining milkshake" (obviously you will need to go out of your way to purchase this, go for a chocolate flavor with low calories). Wait 2 more hours and eat another can of chicken or tuna. Wait 2 more hours and drink a shake. After that Shake, go to the gym and do a warmup jog, and then go do a typical UPPER body workout. When you're done with your workout, end it with a full ab workout (crunches, leg lift, bicycle, and whatever it's called where you face down stretched out, holding yourself up by your arms and toes). When you get back home, drink another shake. After two more hours, eat your final meal of canned meat. Then wait a couple hours and go to bed.
Your schedule should look like this:
• 8 - Wake up, shower, brush teeth
• 8:30 – Go for a 30 minute jog
• 9 – Eat 2 fried eggs
• 11:00 – Chicken
• 1:00 – Shake
• 3:00 – Chicken/Tuna
• 5:00 – Shake
• 5:15 – Workout
• 7:00 – Shake
• 9:00 – Chicken
• 11:00 or 12:00 - Sleep

Or do the less extreme thing of
Eating a massive breakfast and eat a good lunch, eat some dinner.
Do none stop run at 14km/h for 30minutes and in addition do 3 hrs of kick boxing.
Finish it off with 50 crunches none stop to 25 and then count down and then do 50 press ups properly full way down (nose touches ground, body straight) with down slow up quick, and 3 minutes of, hmmm that curved legged thing which you can just replace with 100 squats.
Also twice a week do back exercises.
Do this everday except for Sunday when you read the bible in its place.
Then instead of losing weight you will just grow proportional.
