im thinking of getting my first tattoo! and im looking for inspiration to be honest. I was thinking of my countries logo (i live in Wales, 3 feathers) on the side of my neck. What ones do you guys have?

Parents' initials on my left wrist.

I got my named wrote on my arm in old english writing when i was 14 i think

My advice dont get something on your neck, people will profile you before they even know you, i hate my tattoo because people do that.

Yea, the tattoo might get you out of the job you want, because employers don't really like that type of thing.

do it on your balls so no one see it

On my forearms, close to my elbows on the inside on each one a wing...

I advise you not to take a tattoo in your neck, its better when you can hide the tattoo.

cant wait to get mine, ive had the same design for 4 maybe 5 years now, the only thing thats preventing me is that im still growing . Im going to get it on my ribs, my mom says that i can get it anywhere as long as you can see it in a interview.

i dont see why tattoos are such a big deal its just like painting

Personally i think that they are awesome (with the exception of the generic tranpstamp or tribal band)

Please answer this too. I was going to make a topic about it but i noticed this post here. So here's my question. Whats the suitable age for making tattoo. I'm almost 16(still growing). I have heard that if you get tattoo when ur too young it can stretch out or something like that. Hit me back.

i've thought of getting a tattoo a couple of times. idk, imo they
can look really good on people as you can see in this topic. the
main thing holding me back is that i still want to train my body
when i get enough time for it. if i get the tattoo before that,
it will probably be stretched when i go training >.< but idk for
sure how that works.

yeah i know that, but still i'd get a tattoo rather
than a piercing, of which i know it will probably
grow back to normal when you take it out o.o

I don't recommend getting one until you're at least 18, and here's why:

A) If you grow anymore, yes, it will stretch and can look quite bad.
B) As said many times before, it's LIFE LONG, and you should reach an age where you're able to make a SOMEWHAT mature decision about one.
C) It will affect your chances with women (sometimes subtlely, but it does), and if you make the wrong choice, have fun getting a girlfriend.


Also, before you do, show people the tattoo you're planning on getting, and see what they think. Often things sound good in your own mind, but once you start talking to people about, you realize it's not so great.

Lastly, when you decide you want one, wait at least a month to make sure you REALLY want it.

Anyway, I have a tattoo, unfortunately it's a secret one that I can't display pictures of :-/ And no it's not located anywhere private, the tattoo is just for a secret purpose.

get a small 60 x 60 pixel tattoo on ur left shoulder (more towards the back) that u really really really really like. that way, u can cover it up easily, but u also won't be afraid of showing it.

The Tattoo on my back is Isis. If my forum name was Isis would that make a difference? I just like ancient egypt.
