phone died

Alright last nigh my phone threw in the white towel and isnt working anymore. So i was thinkging about getting the first gen iphone after the new 3g one comes out when they will be cheap as hell. so I was wandering if anyone here has a iphone and if they are as good as people say they are or if there just @#$%.

um i seen on G4 something about if you dont live in a certain area the 3g will cost as much as the original iphone. Also there is an extra service charge for 3g.

i think its good my friend has one and he dropped it ( yes asians drop their phones alot >.> ) and he didnt break it

yea i NEVER have then i woke up went to check the time on it and the screen wouldnt come on. turned it on and off for about a hour

Drop my phone and iPod all the time. my iPod touch has chipps all over the sides, and my phone is a sidekick, and I thought that if I dropped that it would be screwed but it hasn't.

bf's frind has an iphone and he's really happy with it
and dropping phones, mine should be the most resistent phone.. I even dropped it on the stairs and still looks like it's new xD

what
i drop my phone/break it all the time
1. dropped it and sat on it the screen broke so i got new one
2. dropped it down the stairs worked for a while then it stopped working
3. dropped it and stepped on it only the outside broke so it is still usable
