Even though this could go in the other section its not really technical help, but it would never be seen in there and discussed any away so here is the best area.

Is it possible to limit the amount of bandwidth that each computer gets in the house.
My sister is eating it all up by listening to the music on those stupid music videos on You Tube, and reading some type of blog stuff or stories that people create online.

It shoots the ping of the internet from a normal 30-37 to 37-284+ It has become total bull.

So if there is anything like that possible please let me know.

My sister watched TV Links all day long. I blocked the website and told her our internet provider blocked the site..

Then she discovered the wonders of torrents..

Well if she is under 12 then all u gotta do is unplug the cable that goes in and she will prolly go ask her mom or ad or what ever then they will prolly go and ask you and all you gotta do is go look at her computer and make it look like your doing stuff and then say idk what the problem is and then she will just be stuck with no internet until she figures things out.

The only reason I suggested that was because me n my friend did the same thing to his sister and she didn't figure it out for about 5 months.

Find out which IP she takes in the LAN and limit all the websites she goes to and uses up traffic on her IP.

Or just tell your mom you can't do research for your paper cuz your sis is jacking up all the connection.

Agreed, i fail to see how all of this random bullshit typing is "funny" or "cool".

As far as your situation is concerned i say have a talk to her about it. Instead of coming up with some kind of deceitful plan, rather tell her the situation and work hand in hand with her to work our some kind of an arrangement to benefit both users.
