shinagawa station in tokyo

shinkansen (bullet train). Its awesome, but very expensive. I think it was like $60 to go from tokyo to nagoya

tokyo street

what it looks like from my bedroom window in my host family`s house

this is from san jose. the flush lever is actually a pedal, thought it was pretty cool

saw this in a japanese supermarket. awkwardly familiar

awesome samurai statue

san jose state university campus

a fish market in handa-shi, about 30 min south of nagoya

my room in my host family`s house. its small as shit. I can barely fit in any of the doors. I don`t think any of my white friends could live in it without becoming claustraphobic.

tokyo at night

this is one of the staff at the orientation in san jose. This is what happens to otakus when they grow up. They become fat, color their hair pink, wear kimonos, and are a disgrace to america.

I loled. some japanese girl gave me this ad. Haircut and blowjob for only 2500 yen!!!! (about $25)

here is my dorm room in sanjose. it was shitty. I can`t imagine being a college student and living here for one year.

This is japan, where the emperor lives. You can only go in on new years day and on the emperors birthday (december 23)

A fish market in handa-shi

omg this was the hotel in tokyo that we stayed at before meeting our host families. it was amazing. Oh and my roommate got drunk drinking jack daniels and threw up on the floor. you can`t see the barf though.

this is mizkan vinegar factory. Its been producing vinegar since the 1800s and is the same factory as it was back in the 1800s, which is pretty cool. Handa-shi (the city im in right now), is famous for its vinegar by the way.

this is nagoya eki. Right after I took this picture, all the people in the distance almost ran me over

shopping center in the basement of nagoya eki

street in handa-shi, where people are living

a shopping center in handa-shi

this is atsuta shrine, the largest shrine in nagoya. Its very very nice. Unfortunately, I couldn`t get the shrine itself, it was under construction

handa-shi street again

this is a playground in handa-shi. its awesome

thats my feet on the slide, which was like 20 feet high

and thats me at the top. I cant believe the japanese have slides like this. American playgrounds blow compared to this. And the only reason why our slides are so shitty is because everyone will sue if their kid falls off the playset, so they have to keep it small. But in japan, where everyone loves each other, we can have stuff like this. So f*ck you american sue system.

me down the slide

here is an even cooler slide...

...that goes all the way down over there

a bookstore, and that is the hentai section. Honestly, if you go to look at the cover pages, you see naked women, the japanese dont bother to cover anything up...and they dont care if they show everyone how perverted they are such as this man whose ready to fap.

this is my host family`s house. Looks pretty boring on the outside, but inside its actually very nice. And in handa-shi, you will see many houses like this one. The 30 story apartments are only in the big cities.

their car, which is very cool. Its really narrow, but really tall

that is inside the house

ah yes this is the atsuta shrine entrance

I believe this is the west entrance

and this the south entrance

this is a tree that is more than a thousand years old. So its been around since the crusades, very niiiiice. And its at least 50 feet high

more pics to come, including my host pet, and perhaps me in a traditional japanese wedding dress, which I got to wear at some wedding hall.
