I have it linked to my bank account (I have internet banking, it's needed IMO). I either put money on pp and then buy silk, but now I verified my bank account with it I can buy silk straight from my bank account. (saves me about 3 days)

or you can just use a bank debit or cash card and just pay straight from there without even logging into paypal. Just type in the numbers on the card lol.

It took me a week to verify the bank account and 4 working days to process the money through. Buying the silk went off without a hitch.

When I didn't have a credit card linked, I would have to transfer money before buying anything and wait 6-12 business days (IIRC, that's the time it takes OUTSIDE the US) for the funds to arrive before purchasing.

When I added a credit card I could buy things right away with my debit account, and it would transfer the funds after purchase - the reason it worked like that was because they used my credit card as insurance incase my debit account was empty or declined the funds.

Maybe they have a different centre in Europe, and seeing that there's the EU it goes faster. I remember waiting 2 weeks (10 business days) for the last time I transfered funds. Or maybe it changed, that was a long time ago.
