The Cap America vs spiderman made me think of this again.... who would win O_o
after so many ppl were fighting over it, maybe we can continue this argument in here instead of the other thread

Umhhh the first battle was goku vs superman? Dark_Shifty makes a new battle everyday. It was decided Goku would win. You just made a 3 day old battle >_>

really don't recall, wow i feel stupid ^_^ hmm i had a discussion with my friend when he bought a batman comic with batman vs superman and batman won, and then i thought about goku cuz i was playin Dragonball Z shin budokai2 on my psp and we had a whole discussion, he's a big comic book fan, hes for like V for Vendetta and all the good stuff

oh yeha a man that can withstand high temperatures and ca stop a bullet with his eyes. oo spandex and he can see through walls.

Goku is flexed and can actually be killed like a normal person!

OT: since i didnt post on the other thread....

i believe superman will win. afaik goku can get hit by a regular human, crocodile, cat, super hero, other heroes, himself, etc. He's strong with uber skills but superman wouldnt die unless goku drinks some kryptonite soups before fighting him. <- then the fight would be totally different and goku will pwn him.

u know.... when they say superman is invincible, i mean it was like him facing a bullet or something or a train (they didn't know goku existed), i mean if u ever watched dragonball, goku as a kid when he was with master roshi, they had the bi-polar chick at their place and she took out this sub-machine gun and shot them and they lived(and no hospital).... so come on goku was a kid when he could do that, goku can destroy a star, something along the way of Vega, but then difference of chemical balance in the star would automatically turn it into a supernova and destroy goku pretty sure instantly (thats why we're pretty sure screwed if N. korea sends a nuke into the sun)

Goku could create the biggest power ever made by someone, but as long as it doesnt includes some green rocks, that wont hurt superman not even in a million of years.

It's unfair to face anything against superman. It's not even fun.

i love goku btw, but there's nothing to do against some1 who can only get beaten by one lil rock.

You do the next best thing kidnap their family and force them to take the green rock. Or else you kill them off 1 by 1. And not slow like in the james bond movies where the laser takes like 30 minutes to hit his crotch but like a 1 second neck snap. Then you will truly destroy superman

and BTW, is superman is undefeatable, how did his parents die after the planet exploded, i mean superman was no one special, same as his other race, but all of his race died except him from the planet explosion, so if goku can destroy a planet which he can, then superman is screwed

Superman derives his power from Living on Earth. To many authors deviate from cannon causing misconceptions, such as: Supes being invincible. Technically supes is only invincible because of the sun and the light density of the Earth. Put him in an environment of High Density where the sun is Dim and GoKu > Superman. Sayiens are the greatest warriors to live. Superman is just a boy scout in tights. Not even fit to be considered a god.

I thought we covered the whole thing by now.

At one time, this may have been an interesting fight. Back in the Saiyan Saga, when Goku was only in the Death Star's league of fire power. He's gotten a few million times stronger since then. Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, Super Saiyan 4. Not to mention all of his various techniques.

Some people might say the Superman is to fast for Goku. Frankly, I'm convinced that if Goku were in the DC universe, he'd get everywhere he's going in seconds. Conversely, if Supes were in the DBZ universe, it would take him forever to get somewhere, just like it does the Z-Fighters, no matter how fast they get. Seriously, the is an anomily that there are examples of. In the Buu Saga, it takes Kuririn about 10 minutes to go from the Tenkaichi Bodukai to Babidi's ship. Then a few episodes later, it take Trunks and Goten in Super Saiyan mode several episodes to cover that same difference. They should have covered it in seconds. The fact that it takes the Z-Fighters any time at all to get anywhere is just plot induced stupidity.

Superman can take more punishment then Goku. So what? Offense is greater than defense. Goku has side kicks that make the Death Star look like a squirt gun. Goku himself could take out entire Galaxies if he really wanted to. And in Dark Knight Returns, Superman was pretty messed up by a mere nuke. No way he survives a Kamehameha wave.

There's also the skill department. Goku has trained under every martial arts master in his universe, and exceeded every one of them. That includes several gods. Superman is just about brute strength in fights.

And Goku would take Doomsday with one hand tied behind his back. Cell was a far more powerful opponent, and smarter. If Goku ever faught him again, he'd win with ease. Infact, he did beat him in GT. ( No need to go there,we all know GT was uber crap )

Not once, NOT ONCE do I remember an instance where Goku has lost the will to win, or lost the belief that the battle could be won. It doesn't matter what you do, this guy will keep working to defeat you. I've seen him giving telepathic messages to people to help them defeat a foe, I've seen him plung into battle, I've seen him BACK OFF from fighting someone just because he realizes that he's not the best one for the job and will give the one who can advice and props, I've even seen him leave Heaven for crying out loud to save people he cares about! The only way I've ever seen people knock Goku out of the fight permanently is to beat the living shit outta him, break both his arms and legs, break his jaw, and then knock him unconscious. That way, there's no way in hell he can get back into physical battle, and he won't be able to talk to give advice, and being unconscious keeps him from doing it telepathically. And by simply NOT KILLING HIM, he won't do any of the above from Heaven.

That's the only way you'll stop him. And from what I've seen, Superman does not have what it takes.

I will gamble on Goku aka Kakarott.
