Did anybody see that the new iPhone is coming out July 11th? It's really cheap, and better than ever, check it out here and here.

Looks pretty awesome to me.

I doubt it, but if you go into an apple shop with 180 bucks and say "hey, I'll buy an iPhone right now, but this is all I got), if you speak to the manager, he might give it to you.

Has to be 180 bucks cash though.

I need one. But they need to make one that can completely replace my iPod. 16 gigs max? Meh...

But then again: Excellent browser with Flash support + imeem.

3G = Third Generation (when it comes to technology), not 3 Gigabytes.
If you want more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3g

Anyway, if you checked out the links, it comes with 8 GB or 16 GB storage. That's in gigabytes. I agree with you, even 16 is not enough for me.

Exactly, this one is faster and cheaper, old one's got nothing.

except the new one can not be unlocked to be used on t-mobile or any other GSM carriers.

So the old one still has value

But I heard it even came with tools to remove the SIM card...
And it could be on any carrier...
I thought anyways...

How much space do you need? I only need 10 gigs really, though I like to have a little extra space for extra stuff, 16 gigs will do just fine for me (I'm hoping to get one ;))

3G in this case means the network they are using.

If this was in terms of generation, it would only be the second generation.
