I'm currently downloading something off utorrent and its downloading, but i dont want it to upload, any way to stop this?

Uploading isn't considered something that will affect your download limit isnt it?

i think you can change the uploading rate in settings but i don't thin you can stop it.

if u change your upload speed less than 70% of ur upload limit speed, ur download speed will as well go down :p , so basically there is no way unless u find some cracked torrent , which may also contain few viruses on its way :p

once you finish downloading stop the otrrent, i do that with a lot of things (mainly because i upload speed is faster than my download so i end up giving a lot).

oh, and...

Right click your utorrent icon on the lower right side of your screen, select Upload limit and reduce it to the lowest limit you have, I got 25 kbs.

If your internet is slow, you might now want to have your upload limit low as if you upload more, your download speed will slow down.

that's upload, not download. That's nothing though, i saw a guy on 4chan almost having 1pb of upload.

Get Azureus, you can put a limit to your upload but i think it will slow down your download

u can set the upload limit per torrent to any number on utorrent, just double click the torrent and u can add the number there

set max upload speed to 0.1 or something.

How do you get the stat thingy in uTorrent ?

Help > Show Statistics
