omg, another one of these -_-

You honestly dont' need to do crunches at all to get a "six pack", my sister and mom are obsessed over gossip magazines, and if I take a look in them (hey, I'm curious to see what all the ladies are looking at), sometimes they'll have pictures of guys in movies, and they'll be like "omg this 6 pack is drool worthy!" and the guy doesn't even have one -_-.

If you want a "drool worthy" six pack, just eat healthy and run an extra mile a day, you'll get one soon enough.

If you want a body builder's six pack, you have to do abdominal workouts, if you have a chinup bar, you can buy foot straps and you can do toe touches on it, if you do crunches, do it with a weight. Would you do any other muscle workout with no weights? No. So why do this one that way?

very easy to get a six pack if you don't have much body fat. Just do some crunches and cardio. I'd rather jump rope instead of jogging/running but that's your preference.
Make sure to do different kinds of crunches and not stick with the same ones as the abdominal muscles adjust fast to your workout. Adding weights is a different story however

I guess the SEALS just dont know how to workout....lol.
You dont need ANY weights to make yourself anymore "cut". Do weights help, yes. They help alot if your trying to build pure mass, but if you dont have a 10k dollar gym you can do alot of exercises at home, from pushups to situps. A 6 pack is alot of work, sorry to say that. But when you liftup your shirt and girls are like omg let me touch, worth every effort. Crunches work, but alot of times you need more to have a firm 6 pack. Put your legs on a bed or something that is high and do situps then. Legs lifts can help to build "sex lines" and help build a core that is necassary for a visible 6 pack. If you can move around without discomfort then you havent done enough, pain truly is gain if your talking a 6 pack.

All military programs are constructed the way they are to build endurance, not strength. How is a guy who can knockout Rambo gonna do any better in a firefight than a guy who couldn't punch out Bill Cosby?

Yeah, you don't NEED extra weights, but without them, it's not going to do much. If you can do 100 crunches easy, no weight, how will that be better than doing 5 crunches with an added 100~ pounds? Let me tell you, the second will work way better, and it'll save you time too. You'll be sore though.

Just do cardio though I guess, I'm sure you'll get what you want from that.

P.S. Masta, what are "sex lines"? Are they those grotesque things at the base of the abdominals? Lemme find a picture...

This guy has light ones, right? I hate those, lol. But supposedly alot of girls think they're hot, so if you wanna impress the ladies I guess you can get them too. I honestly have no idea how to get them though, although Masta stated leg lifts.

Go run in full combat gear, boots and all in sand. You will lose about 45 pounds of fat doing that.

Those are my favourite kind.

I don't have a 6pack and I don't care about getting one.

Just being skinny isn't a six pack, your abs can show but still not a 6 pack. 3rd grade eh? need proof for that.

i thought running mainly worked the lower abdominal region. To get a full six pack you need to do more than cardio....and yes its always worth the effort

guy with six pack>guy without six pack

not saying the latter is bad but the formers got alot more going for him from the start

if you have little body fat, one month at your local gym should do the job.

six packs are utterly useless, they are considered to look cool though, so I guess my investing time in one wasn't so useless.

I still think it's better (if you want to be fit) to just do weights first, or biking. Biking is actually just as good imo, works out your whole body and it's hard.

P.S. By biking, I mean BMXing, getting on your racing bike isn't going to build you muscle.

biking does not build that much muscle...it conditions muscles but thats about it. having strong abdominal muscles are not useless and is the sign of a healthy body and lifestyle, as soon as you start treating your body like crap your 6 pack will be the first thing to go. Having fit muscles everywhere is all well and good but a 6 pack is really what'll stand out.

BMXing builds a shit load of muscle, you have to lift a 100 pound bike along with yourself off the ground several times and do all sorts of shit.
6 pack as stated before is more a vanity thing, at least in my opinion. Some guy could be a total sloth and have one, just because he doesn't eat that much or something.

I had a sixpack since I was twelve.

In my locker, and every first break it became a threepack, and the second lunch break it became a 0 pack.

The next day my sixpack was back!

Yay!=)

Neither is good imo.
