Okay, i have a cousin whose name is "Jonas".
is there a possibility of him getting an email adress like
Jon@s.nl?
or is that only paid, first register
http://www.s.nl, then add emails?

I'm not sure about getting him an email adress like that, then he might have to pay. However you can exploit msn messanger, so you can give yourself any email adress.
1. Whadafok?
This thing will help you get your own custom e-mail to use at Windows Live! messenger.
Example:
Random@SRF.Sro instead of
mdp@hotmail.com /
mdp@msn.com / ..
2. Why?
Since Microsoft updated their ghey service to Live! it has been impossible for users without a Live! approved e-mail to register on MSN Passport. This includes every single not-microsoft email provider out there (xcept yahoo..): e.g. gmail.
3. The trick
First, go to the Get Live! page:
http://get.live.com/getlive/overviewContinue by clicking the Sign Up button. (orange one, you can't miss it)
Look at the following code, you can change the mdpisthebest / fuckyeah to anything you want.
Code: Select all
<paste this into your browser location (CTRL+L)>
javascript: var p = 'mdpisthebest.'; var ds = new Array('fuckyeah'); for (var i = 0; i < ds.length; i ++){document.getElementById('idomain').options[i] = new Option(p + ds[i], p + ds[i])} alert('Domains added')
Your Live! ID will now be:
<anything you enter>@mdpisthebest.fuckyeah
Please note: this will ONLY create a windows live id, you won't be able to get the actual e-mail address unless you already own it.
Have fun.
Should be about it. Creds to

But it should say "Unverified Email" or similar in Messenger.

As for the email address, he would most definitely have to register the domain. Usually you can set up
email forwarding for your domain through your registrar, which you can then link up with a Gmail account.

The normal way to do it is to register a domain (
http://www.namecheap.com |
http://www.godaddy.com ) and then either host a mailserver on your webhosting or they have options to forward all emails sent to
whateveryouwant@yourdomain.com/nl/us/org/net to another email address. Gmail allows you to set your outgoign email as whatever you want, as long as you can confirm it's yours. So for example:
He would buy
http://www.s.nl, then he would set
Jon@s.nl to forward to his gmail account (eg:
kanker.zooi@gmail.com). After he would go to the settings and there's a field to add emails, you fill out the form and it will send an email to that email - because he set
Jon@s.nl to forward to his gmail account, he would receive it in his gmail account then click the confirmation. After that, all he has to do is go to settings and change the default email to send from
kanker.zooi@gmail.com to
Jon@s.nl. If ever he needs to use his old email, when you write an email there's a dropdown in the "sender" field and he can pick to send from his old one.

It works nice. I use the same email for my msn and xbox live account, so I don't need to give out 124142 inboxes - and even if I did, I could set them all to lead to the same gmail.
