The official EURO 2008 thread *UPDATE RESULTS*

Okay, pressure is slowly building …… The EURO championship football is coming up.


First match is on June 7th (Switzerland vs Czech Republic) and the grand Final is on June 29th.

First time that the “tennis schedule” is introduced where Group A and B is the upper half of the schedule and Group C and D the lower half.

Time schedule

Group matches June 7th – June 18th

Quarter Finals
1. June 19th Winner Group A – Runner up Group B

Hopefully we'll see some good matches. Let's see what will happen. Ofcourse I hope that 8) Holland 8) will win but I guess they won't even survive the group.

Amelie is interested in football. :love:

Spain will win. They have the best atk with Torres and they have the best offensive midfield with Fabregas and Xavi etc. Their def is pretty good to with Puyol and Ramos. Just got to hope they get everything together and that they let Sweden finish 2nd in the group.

I think the winner will be either Holland or Spain. France have a good chance but I don't think they'll be good enough to win it.

If van persie is fit and ready too fire Holland will take it! But Spain's team is soo strong I'm going to have to go with Spain. Fabregas FTW!

Well I'll be cheering for Holland, but I don't have much faith in them winning it.
Out of all the star players we have available we come up with 'De Zeeuw' and 'Engelaar', add to that the fact we're in the same group as Italy and France. (We also lost to Romania last time we faced them IIRC)

I'm guessing Italy is gonna win, Holland is going to get eliminated first round with Romania.
