what's so beautiful, even you could do it if there's no goalkeeper.

Code: Select all

with the ball stopped after the referee called a foul.
Now that's a shot lol

i was looking for this one from beckham, way better than the one posted. At least there's a keeper. It's the first goal btw.

Cant see whats so difficult. His free kicks are more impressive. All this takes is some power and an avarage aim.

I'm not really a fan of soccer but 1 thing for sure. Why did the keeper left the goal in the first place? That's why it's called goal keeper because they guard the goal! He didn't do his job :banghead:

It's not beautiful, although i laugh at the blue team not attacking him...Empty ned, a guy called beckham alone... i would attack him and wouldnt let him shoot >.>

For Beckham that goal was fcking easy, his lvl compared to usa league lvl is just too high lol.

I found this from answers.com
Link: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_history_of_soccer

Answer to your question:

Football is the official name for soccer. Soccer comes from association football. Only in the USA and canada do they say soccer.

The global name for football is of course football. The global name for american football is gridiron. Gridiron is a code of handball and not football.

So apparently besides USA, Canadians also call it soccer :D

Lol here is also quote from urban dictionary, I like how it is written :P

Football Also Known As the BEAUTIFUL GAME. A real sport played with your FEET and an actual round BALL, hence the name FOOTBALL. This term should never be used to refer to our silly american game of putting on 30 pounds of armor and carrying a cone shaped piece of rubber while trying not to be touched by other guys. You'll note the lack of definitions calling this silly game football. And there is a reason for that. Some silly americans give us a bad name by not noticing what is going on in the rest of the world and don't realize that there was already a real sport called football when we made up our game, but everyone else in the world knows whats up.

P.S. Please, if you are American please stop saying the S word (s****r)and saying that our american game is better than real football. If you are not american just know that not all of us are confused ****.

Football is the best and most popular sport in the world.
