Ipod touch .avi--mp4 converter

Anyone know of a good -- free program that will convert .avi files to ipod format for my ipod touch (such as full length movies). I looked on google and around and i dont want to pick a random one because i dont trust it. Any ideas / suggestions?

Have heard it takes hours to work and isnt very good but thanks ill use it as alternative

Yea videora gives great options when converting and does it pretty quickly.
