check ur settings, u might have changed the language of your keyboard.

Like: i have Belgium (point) set as standard
But i can also choose Belgium (komma) or USA (standard)
if i would choose USA, my a = q, z = u, ....

i don"t think the language is wrong i think for some reason instead of key"s being able do both the letter eight and this sybol * it just does one for some reason
