Counting Cards with BlackJack

does it really work?

Yeah it does if you know what your doing but most casinos will close the table or kick you out of the casino.

Yeah it sure does work, but you have to be mathematically inclined to even begin to understand it. It's still gambling though, but in a more efficient way.

And Sharp324 got it right, as soon as they even suspect a card counter the casino officials will be on your arse quicker than a fly on shit.

I know it's possible, but if you think of it, its like no way!

How can you possible guess or know the next card, when the cards have been shuffled? It could be ANY card????

Cardcounting isnt used to know or guess the next card but to tell how many high cards will come up in the next hand, its actually pretty easy.

If you want an even better movie than 21 that shows you in detail how it works, check out The Last Casino.

But yah, it's not telling you what specific card. It's telling you when there is a greater odds of a higher card coming out of the shue based on what has been played so far so you can increase your betting for a bigger payout. The theory is fairly easy, but the implementation is only for those with very sharp mathematical minds and a fantastic memory retention. If it was easy, everyone would do it.

If your using the Hi-Lo method all you need to keep track of is the running total, sure if you wana go do this in casinos you would need to be quick and be able to multi-task.

they were supposed to be "super intelligent" to avoid getting caught, along with the mathematical skills.

Don't casinos replace the deck after every round? That pretty much screwed it.

How can you possible guess or know the next card, when the cards have been shuffled? It could be ANY card????

It's Called Math.
Learn it :) :)

...Most casinos use more then 1 deck of cards now...
I dont think it makes a difference tho

Yeah i know lol, but it's just so weird i mean it could be any card ontop of the deck. Simply because the shuffling is different and not the same pattern :/

Here they use 2 decks. I keep track with my father, after the 5th round it gets easy.
The thing is when a retard that doesn't know how to play joins in, our game gets fcked up, they just ask for more and more cards leaving with crupier able to screw us over.

Counting cards wont work if you shuffle the deck after every round. And usually casinos will use up to 6-8 decks (some use less), this makes it harder to win because you would need a higher running total. After a few rounds it should be easier though.

After the dealer shuffles you start the counting over.
