Alright so I know these to girls who are sisters. And their both reasonably attractive for their age which is 14 & 16 *The younger one is actually the prettier one * I'd say that the younger one is a 7-8 and the older one is 6-7
Anyways,
The Eww thing is that they only take a shower once a week!
Now I've heard of black people going a week without taking a shower. And I know that curly haired people aren't supposed to shower daily * I have curly hair and I shower about every other day*
But I've never heard of two white teenage girls going an entire week with only one shower. + they take Ballet almost everyday of the week. And so I imagine they'd get a little bit sweaty after that but still they only take a shower once a week. *if it were me I'd take one after every practice*

So anyways I guess this whole thing got me wondering.

And wtf is up with curly people who can't shower every day, that's just bullcrap imo.

i take a shower every other day unless needed (i don't sweat that much).

Some people shower less due to cultural reasons or how they were raised. Sometimes they can get away with it, sometimes they can't.

I definitely couldn't get away with it, because I tend to sweat buckets when it's hot out or I'm doing physical activities.

I shower at least once a day, usually twice (morning and before bed).

It's called moisturizer. And yes, they smell some for men that doesn't smell like flowers.

In some places water is really really expensive. I remember on a tour in Paris, our parisien tour guide told us (I don't remember the exact number, but something close to) 30-45% of people don't shower daily because of the cost of water.

Other places, like arab countries, also have the same problem. I had two arab guys in my class who told us they're not used to showering daily. They only found out that most of us did when one of them was excited to tell everyone he was allowed to take a bath that night.

edit: oh yeah, OT: I shower atleast once every day. In the Summer I take an extra shower a day if I don't go swimming, for cooling reasons, I take a shower after physical activity, and I always take a shower before or after important CSS matches.

I shower twice a day. I can't see how you can manage to shower once every other day and still feel good about yourself Sometimes if its getting really late, and i mean REALLY late, i miss a shower at night, but then i feel dirty when i go to bed Thats just me

Well, it has to do with how people are raised. If their parents grew up in a place where they weren't able to bathe much, then it is likely that their kids wouldn't bathe as much since they learn habits from parents.

I know that answer probably sucks. I know Indian people seem to be notorious (at least at my school) for smelling, this is one reason it seems like a cultural thing to me since it's not random people it's a fairly large number of the same background.

Also, I heard anecdotally about someone who wouldn't wear deodorant because of one of the ingredients, which is perfectly reasonable.

Basically, before you criticize someone for their hygeiene try to figure out why they're like that. It's true that they might just be a dirty disgusting person, but it's also possible that they just don't know any better or are used to it so they don't notice or they're that way because of their upbringing or beliefs.

It would also be worth noting that the way you smell is a combination of what you eat and genetic inheritance from your parent's race. For example, I know a lot of arabs say that they don't smell even if they don't shower - they don't smell for eachother, because they all smell the same, and after a couple minutes of smelling the same thing, you get used to it and you don't smell it anymore. Next time you sleep at someone's house - smell their pillows.

lol. i recognize that.

i shower every morning.
when i feel like shit in the evenings, which mostly means i need that extra
15 minutes of sleep the next morning, i shower before i sleep.

I usually shower 3-4 times a week. This usually changes though depending on the season since I shower for MUCHH longer in the winter, and shower more times in the summer.

I just have heard from several people that black people don't always shower daily and can go a week without showering....idk if this is true or not just what I've heard.

IMO Curly hair people don't show because our hair is naturally less oily then straight hair people. So if we showered daily our hair would get all dry and nasty.....or at least thats what happens to me

I have a Bath Tub XD

I can't go more than a day without a shower. It starts feeling really nasty. Plus greasy hair sucks no matter who you are.

It sucks because I've recently started washing my hands after everything too, so now I get this feeling that I have to.

If I go a week without showering I will kill myself. This is coming from a black man, before puberty I can pull it off but now: After every Work Out, In the Morning, and depending on what I was doing before bed I shower. Scrub them hind quarters >>>

Only on even days.

Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

I only bath like everyother day becuase we dont have a shower and my jacuzzi takes too long to fill up.

When iam in my villa in Florida i shower everyday becuase of the heat T_T brits are not used to that shite.
