Ok, just learned it today and i was amazed.
So, you have a hotel with infinite # of rooms and is on one floor, ranging from 1-infinity
Ex:
__________
|1|2|3|4|5|...
__________
- all of your rooms are occupied.
- everyone listens to whatever the "loudspeaker" says, even if it is inconvenient.
A weary traveler comes to your front desk and wants a room.
Q:What do you do to make space in your hotel to fit this traveler into your hotel without removing any one of your guests?
________________________________________________________________________________________________
Second Question of Hotel Infinity
Same procedure, your hotel with unlimited rooms is all occupied, and instead of just one weary traveler, you need to fit an entire bus load if infinite customers.
Quote: The bus is carrying an Infinite amount of people
Q:What do you say,in the loudspeaker, to make room for these infinite amount of people from the bus into your hotel, WITHOUT, making any of your already gotten guests leave?
________________________________________________________________________________________________
I believe there is a 3rd question to Hotel Infinity, but i think i forgot about it and was lost in my notes.

This is a toughie. So infinite people fill up infinite rooms? @_@ *Brain hurts*
How about moving everyone down one room?

There's a major flaw in your Hotel Infinity basis. It's supposed to have an unlimited # of rooms, but you also say all rooms are occupied meaning there is a limited # of rooms. If there really was an unlimited # of rooms, then there would be no problem checking in an unlimited # of people into the hotel.

If you have an infinite number of rooms, which are all occupied, I think you have infinite no vacancy.
So you should ask the guy at the desk WTF he would be doing asking for a room at a hotel that's infinitely occupied.

Wow ^^
You have gotten the right answer to question one, why?
The reason is that everyone moves down one, and lets say Room #1 goes down to room #2 and 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 and so on.
Room 1 will be vacant, since you cannot make another room if it is unlimited, so making an announcement to tell everyone to please move down one room is correct ^^.

1 person
Every one moves 1 room
A bus load of people lets say 40 people.
Everyone moves 40 spaces
An infinite amount of people.
Everyone moves to the double of its roomnummber
1 > 2
2 > 4
3 > 6
Thus all infinite odd rooms are free to add infinite people.
Adding people in the hotel is easy. It was harder to get them back out.
But it's an aid to help people with the idea of infinity.
I preferred infinity raised to the infinieth power.

Infinity lacks sense, they could've taken an example with atoms in the universe

Yay you solved it ^^, and gave a logical explanation of why it works, good job ^^
