Don't use google. Use http://Www.Blackle.com. It has a black layout whcih saves more watt hours because Google has an white layout.

Actually, it takes more energy to produce a black screen on most modern screens, so that's only good for people usin' old '95's lol.

Ninja.com is better. Still has no effect on energy use.

Meanwhile the ice caps are still melting at a geometric rate. IMO you can't stop something that huge. It's a phase the Earth is entering into, whether we're helping it along or not it's gonna happen.

The planets been around for millions of years. If it can go through ice ages and all that other crap, why couldn't it go through ice melting. Who says it won't keep going for millions of years.

IMO if you really wanted to stop the world from becoming shit in around 50 years you would have to get everyone on the planet to stop everything that they're doing and work on it. Global Warming isn't something you can slow down by doing something so useless as using a black web page to search for shit on. You might save a few cents per year on your power bill, but you're still going to be baking under the hot sun once the huge levels of methane melt the ozone.
The best you can really do is hope somebody in politics gets a huge energy crisis plan together and gets our resources shifted toward slowing global warming down. Until something that big happens though I doubt you'll see ANYTHING drastic change as far as fixing the problem goes. And that's if we can even hope to do anything in the first place.
