Goodbye mama simpson?

Well for those simpsons fans after 21 or so years homers mother finally bit the dust. She died in her sleep and she made homer throw her ahses off a ciff but it really clogged a secret machine inside the cliff and stoppped a nuclear launch. Homer then stopped them and left back outside. His whole family being there they dumped her ashes in the lake.

In the end they said in loving memory of our friend ----------- So i am guessing that they voice of his mother died so they made her character die as well? If there is another reason please post.

Knew this day would come simpsons is getting too old =/

meh, she was always a fringe character, and theyve killed them off before, like bleeding gums

I don't think so... they went downhill long ago. The humor style chaged a lot, and it was for bad IMO.

Of course, it's a matter of taste but i love the old Simpsons while i hate the new ones.
