I wanted to make a sro movie, in the past ive used Gamecam but.... well im going to be honest i cant find a crack for the new version lol. Anyway i could never get fraps to work correctly and I dont know why. I have like 70-90 FPS but the moment i press record it drops to 20. I have e4500 cpu, 2gb ram, radeon x1650 video card. Vapore (im assuming you know who he is) has like P4 3.0, 512mb ram, radeon x1950 and look at how nice his videos come out, and he uses fraps. Sigh.... guess fraps just think my pc is shit

Fraps depends more on your hard drive speed and hard drive setup more than your CPU speed, ram, etc.

AMD CPU's also help a lot (don't know why).

I use the Xfire video

No marks on your videos, and I think there's no limit on the size. But they use as much space as Fraps movies do, which is A LOT

.
I always end up changing al movies from .avi to .wmv in Windows Media Player
