it's at 80!! and the 9800 isnt much better

ur chart makes no sense really.. what is it based on? what game is it benchmarked on, differnt cards are better at differnt games also where is there 8800GTX i have that card :/

SLI itself isn't crap...
The problem is: not much games support sli and so, some games perform better with a single card than with a sli.

according to that chart 3 way SLI on 8800 Ultra does suck for the $$$ u pay but the 2 way is decent. But hell if that chart is right screw 2 way 8800 Ultra just get quad SLI with the GX2 Much better off to get 3 9800GTX in SLI, it wil perform better and it's cheaper. 9800GTX offers a lot of overclocking headroom, however an 8800Ultra is pretty much a heavily OC'd 8800GTX so it offers little to no overclocking abilities.

How does that chart make sence. What game or 3D render software were they using? Because some cards performe better on some things rather then others.

I've noticed a lot of people think that they are only used for video games lol.

My 7950GT still destroys a lot of the games out today. No need to upgrade yet.

But if you need some justification for spending $500 on a videocard, at least you'll be able to play that unoptimized piece of trash Crysis on maybe 30 fps.

lol the charts make perfect since (they probaly averaged the most popularg ames they use to benchmark [there is a list of them for games that are used officialy for benchmarking, its probaly and average])
but yah, and the funny thing is 8800 ultra sli (x2) - (x3) is like no diff O_o lol

But the 13 and 14 yeard old here have no idea how to read a chart yet cause they haven't been teached that yet.

Actually SLI is mostly bragging rights or for people who think 2 is always better. Only get about 40% increase from the second card, be better off getting a next gen card.

lol 8800x3, thats overkill.
