A good game?

What's a good game? MMORPG that is, I would preferably like one that is like silkroad, minus the bots, the long leveling time, the lack of customer support, the server traffic, and all it's other problems.
Or something just totally different.
I just want one that's really fun that's just like fun to explore in or whatever, I thought FLYFF would be fun, because I was just gonna fly around all day. But I didn't know what the **** was going on, and it took even longer to level in that game than it did in SRO.
I was thinking about getting rumble fighter because it looked just way different, but I decided to make this thread instead.
BTW, I've seen the MMORPG's thread, it didn't help very much, so can you please help me? Thanks.

Avoid mmos until Aion opens, they all suck now. Even though Aion pvp doesn't look promising
Or wait for an english private server, i know one should be out in a week or 2 according to a friend, he only needs to code the user database now, everything else is done. :p

bingo. and before you say you don't want p2p, you won't get all of those good things listed with a free mmo.

Yeah I don't think he would of thought of Silkroad or WoW. Good job Sherlock.
To be honest I don't think there really a MMORPG out right now that is as good as Silkroad or WoW. But if your willing to pay you can get something worth your money from what I'm hearing.
I've heard from loads of people that Age of Conan is very good I haven't played it myself but im tempted considering the hype.

Lol

About Aion, will it be p2p? I'm a cheapass, so I can only play free games.
About the private server, will it be 80 cap? Or what? I'd absolutely love to have a lower cap game ^ ^. I think everyone would appreciate a 60 cap server, or a pre alchemy 70 cap server.
Whatabout Rohan too? Isn't that supposed to be good?

Do you have to pay money for a private server?

Cabal Online
The high level dungeon runs are Farking amazing. Not to mention, the PVP system requires an considerable amount of skill and practice unlike SRO's SoSun-bashing, pot-abusing kiddy pillow fights in DH. You can check out videos of the game on youtube if you like

I'm gonna post some screenshots later when I get home (I'm at still at work)

Sword of the New World:
1.Very simlar to sro

2.U can use 3 chars each time, so its like u are partying up
3.No bots
4.Bots can be reported
5.Quite easy to lvl
6.Builds are similar to sro-
Warrior--->Fighter
Wizard----->Elementalist
Warlock--->Wizard
Crossbow--->Musketeers (use guns

)
Cleric/Bard or Dagger Rogue----> Scout
7. Gold buying gets u banned

8. Hold Mode/Defend Mode-
This is almost like an ingame bot. U can use it when u are going afk for a while. u cannot
pick items with this.
9. Login in first try
10. Guild Wars, Raids, and Dungeons

11. Super good graphics- Better than sro IMO
12. Is F2P, with cash shop
13. I play this game

srry, i took pics, but i dont know where it saved

I hate my internet
I can't download a lot of games because it'd take forever on my crappy internet.
IS there anyway to download a game but only download like 20mb a day?
or somthing like that?

PCGamer supposedly played about 60 free MMORPGs and they listed the 9 that are worth playing.
Crime Craft
Mythos
Requiem: Bloodymare
Dungeon Runner
Sword of the New World: Granado Espada
Holic
Shaiya: Light and Darkness
Fiesta
Cabal Online
A brief description of each game and a link to each website can be found here

The lack of SRO makes me queezy, but then again, sro sucks unless you're addicted to it.
I've played Granado Espada, it's pretty good... Only problem is the equipment system, it's weird to me, you have like a bajillion slots to wear shit, but I'm only wearing like 1 thing on each character. I dunno, I might play it later.
Thanks alot for this list, I'll check 'em all out. Cabal seems good, more info please.

Well the character thing is the same for me O.o. im new to sotnw. but i think those stuff are for costumes.
Cabal is a fun game, but the map is so small. and it doesnt have a good newbie help system

. i downloaded it because the graphics, skills, and the gear looked cool in the vids

, but at lower lvls, its not that fun

. also, whoever plays cabal, can u tell me where the exp bar is?
Cabal Online wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabal_OnlineNote: there are bots and gold bots in the game. this was the reason i quit it

@UnbeatableDevil Its the thin blue bar above your skill bar.
Cabal is pretty good. PvP requires more skill than SRO and its much easier to level. I'm level 116 on Cabal and the leveling speed is equivalent to about mid 2x soloing on SRO. Even though there are many gold bots and spammers(not as many as SRO), its easy to log in. Most of the items in the item shops can be traded in game. In high level areas you can kill people that are in the opposite nation as you or don't have a nation. If someone not in your nation has a good grind spot that you want, just kill them. If you keep getting killed or ksed by other people, just pick one of the 15+ channels to log onto and you can get back to leveling.

Yes it is. Unless you guys have your own version of Cabal, you're allowed to play in the NA version from ogplanet.
BTW, to the person who said that Cabal has a small map: Green Despair, Bloody Ice, and Desert Scream aren't the only maps in the game =p
