i dont no if ATI is a software or hard ware
and is NVIDIA a hardware or software?

They are companies that make the chips that go on your graphics card.

A quick search on google or wikipedia could give u an anwser.

They both make hardware BUT in order for hardware to function properly, u need drivers.
Drivers = a sort of software.

PS: ATI was bought by AMD

Not only graphics card, but they are most known for them

I think it's awesome that you're so clueless about computers, shows a bit of your personality imo. You don't spend much time on a computer for what I can see, that's good


ATI and Nvidia are mainly brands of GPUs. So there's a hardware and a software part (graphic cards & drivers)
