So today i had to do my driving theory test and i passed, so my mum bought me a car and paid a year insurance for me!

She got me a new Toyota corolla 3 door.

No 'practical' exam? Grats! I did my theory as well (49/50 so passed ;p) but i still need to do my practical exam

new car as first car,your parents must believe much in you,im going to get an old peugeot 106 of 92' that i payed 200€ as first car:O

I got 48/50, i dont know what i was worried about becuase they asked all the easy questions so i was happy.

I knew i was going to get a car but i was expecting it after i passed my practical but when i passed today she took me out to pick my new car.

I wanted a honda civic but she didnt want me to get it becuase it was a sports car -.-

5 doors: driver + passenger + 2 doors backseet + trunk

damn...

We're not that ritch at home, so I'll only get something like, a congratz...

But hey, The car I really want is waaay too expensive, (Kia Sorento) so they won't do anything like that...

My oldest sister has finished it 3 years ago, nothing. my other sister is doing it right now, but she has the driving lessons for her b-day, I'll get that too, prolly, but I intend to do a lot of practice driving in our home cars (2 to pick from) so I can get it in a week...

(And a european drivers license pwns cuz when I go to america I can buy an american drivers licence for like, 10 bucks... If I would go without drivers license and get it there, I'd have to do it again in holland...)

well, a van...

My mom had a Mercedes Vito a few years ago, and it had driver + pasenger + one backseet + trunk.

err.. lol. honda civic =/= sports car.

grats on your driving test. and be very glad your mom refused to
buy you a honda civic. here in the NL, lot of youngsters drive
these civics. and almost all of em drive em, believing they are
sports cars. lol. guess what happens if you speed and the police
find a young kid behind the wheel of a civic. not the best situation
you can have, so be glad with the corolla until you find your very
own car you can race in.

but srsly.. i keep loling about it..

honda civic -> sports car..

everytime i see a civic or a crx try to drive away from me, with these
huge "no fear" or "VTEC" stickers on em and the big exhaust that make
this loud, ugly noise you don't want to hear when you're going on a
holiday.. i just lol. srsly.

edit: almost forgot the "Hardcore For Life" stickers. those too.

ohyeah... those damn stupido's with their dumb stickers and matching sweaters of like, 200% hardcore!! (my bioligy teacher once just totally dissed a person wearing a sweater with 200% hardcore on it, saying:

You see how dumb those hardcore listners are?? cuz you can't get more then 100%!! xD

Hardcore is this dumb repetitious music genre in holland... it totally sucks...

You got really lucky with your mom buying you a car, damn...Turning 18 in like 2.5 months but I won't be needing a license because I get the 'OV' (free bus/train etc rides here in the Netherlands) so : )

Hm. My parents gave me my grandfather's old Dodge Polara with a 383 4-barrel...the thing was huge, you could live in the trunk. Pegged the needle so many times on gravel roads...it's a miracle I didn't kill myself.

I would make sure you hug your mom a LOT for the next year and be extra good.

Must be higher overseas...only $22k MSRP here, that's pretty cheap for an SUV. I bought a Hyundai Santa Fe (similar to a Sorento) last year, MSRP of $26k+ as we equipped it, paid 21k, and that was too high.

you forgot the best of them all: hardcore 4 live
just brilliant to see them spend like at least 50 euros to get a nice sticker only to have it spelled wrong
