DNS Error

Hi, I use a wireless router to connect to the internet and i have been getting a DNS error ever since i have bought my laptop.
I use windows vista 32 bit ultimate.
Any help would be appreciated.

Go to Control panel and click classic view( go to network connections and right click on your connection and click properties, click once on Internet protocol and then click properties again, and make sure that it says Obtain Ip address and DNS server automatically. If it don't then just click the bubble and click ok.

Those were already set to automatic.
But i'm still getting an error that is stopping me getting onto the internet in some circumstances.

hmm. Have you tried troubleshooting it? Call your isp if you need help with it.

I've tried diagnosing and troubleshooting.
Already rung up my ISP and they could'nt help me.
So i thought i would ask around.

Don't know what else to tell ya except have your Isp send a tech out to your house to fix it.

Had this problem before, it's a glitch with wireless cards IIRC. I had to disable a bunch of stuff, like file sharing, printer sharing etc. Restart the laptop and reset the wireless card - it should then launch properly.

Make sure your laptop is looking on the correct channel your router is boardcasting on
