I guess I find it hard if not impossible that everything that's happend over the course of the world has just been random.....there has to be a purpose behind it....that purpose is God

But I don't go to church anymore... I use to when I was younger but I didn't agree with a lot of the things they were teaching in my church, such as the whole 'the bible is a guild on how to live, not a historical document'.. personally I believe everything in it actually happened, unless it was an actual story told by someone in the bible to make a point.

-And you believe and follow religion, you spend eternity in paradise.
-And you do not believe or follow religion, you spend eternity in suffering.

If there is no Heaven & Hell:

-I dont really think you lose that much.

I would definately say being Christian influenced me to avoid a lot of things that would have changed my life in negative ways, most easily notable would be drugs. Do people who dont believe still avoid these things too? Sure. And do Christians still do them even though they are Christian? of course. But thats what personally pushes me to avoid a lot of things, to be a better person, & to help people out in any way I can and put them before myself. Thats why I am religious, what it does for me personally.

I don't feel the need to have a religion in order to learn moral values. I know that I will open a door for a senior citizen, I don't think someone needs religion to know that.

oh and you religious people who threaten me that I will burn in hell if I don't go to church...I really don't care because heaven/hell exists for only those who are religious.
