A quick question for a date

I'm taking a girl out to dinner and a movie tonight at around 5-8sh.

Would it make more sense to pick her up at 5, take her to the movies first, and then dinner, or the other way around?

Or does it not really matter?

I know this seems stupid, but I just want to get everything right. This girl's really special.

I would say movie then dinner for some reasons.

1. You would have one more theme you could talk about while eating.
2. A good movie always makes hungry :d

just watch out that she doenst eat to much popcorn so that she still eats something afterwards

Time is bad. I wouldn't eat at 5 (well.. i don't know what your standard is).
We [Dutch people] usually eat at 6-7ish. I would eat first, then take her to the movies

trust me, it's not stupid. Those small details can help you gain points in your date.

I love when i go out and first go to the movies, and then dinner, so you can have a good relaxing chat (maybe about the movie, and then that could help to talk about other stuffs), while you wait your order, eat, and post eat lol.

Be nice and be with her all the way to her home, so she feels you're interested on her.

movie than dinner...gives you more to talk about plus its a nice ice breaker in case both of you are nervous.

I think first movie then dinner, and let her pick the movie...

and don't argue, it'll surprise you that a girls' choice can be fun sometimes...

Yet, if she's a horror lover, it's not really romantic... I couldn't eat after a horror...

yup. I actually was thinking movies than dinner because I'd rather eat dinner when its a little darker. I totally forgot about the entire conversation thing, which makes perfect sense.
thanks, all of you. I appreciate it! (:
