Since everyone else is asking, figured I'd give it a shot with you "More experienced" ppl out there on SRF, Well it'll be 1 year in 8-days since my GF and I have been going out, We love each other to death and talk at least 3hours-12hours at a time on the phone, and I'm going to the movies with her tommorow, but it seems, we always argue, bout the dumbest shit, but she really does get upset with and sometimes I do with her, I don't hit her or anything, not mean, she doesnt either (Thank God ^_^), but we never STOP arguing, like ppl at school always ask do we still argue lol, but can any1 give me some advise, and yeah I go along with what she says, yah I know the lady always wins, but somehow we still argue O_o, any advice? thanks

Maybe you are getting tired of being together all the time, even when you are not together (Hint: 12 hours on the phone).

It prolly isnt how much time, but the quality of the time. After youve been dating someone a while things get boring. Girls fight it, guys wallow in it. Its like old worn pants. Most guys LIKE old worn pants. Most girls chuck them and buy new ones. So be new. Do things differently. SHe is prolly just bored but is mature enough to know she still likes you.

+1. after 2 yrs with my bf, and doing the same stuff over and over... i finally got rid of him, it just got too boring...after a while the feelings were fading... but not only cauz of that, there were many other HUGE pathetic factors involved. but yeah she's prolly just getting bored. figure out some stuff to do for her that you havent before or something.

God i love my old pants, there so comfy

As far as i see your situation topic Gaige you need to do more of the things you did before you two started fighting, to rekindle what was once there. Maybe try giving her flowers, taking her on a romantic boat ride through a little canal, something which you did whilst the arguments weren't occurring. Doing so may cause her to reflect upon how great those old times were and work towards setting things in that direction.

Hope it all works out for you.

A wise man never argues with his woman, he just waits until she starts contradicting with herself.

Seriously, now its your time. Youve got a 1-year anniversary. Be creative and do something really sweet for her on that day. Take her to a new place, try different stuff, and when you argue, dont be all stubborn and stuff, look through her eyes, even if youre wrong, be willing to make concessions.

while we're at it why dont we live your life for you too?

Its your gf, you should know her better than we do, you should know her likes and tastes. If you dont know what after a year than quit right now.

You could just ignore her when she's in a pissy mood to prevent confrontation

lol tried that......lets just say if we were married I wouldv'e been on the couch for quite awhile, it's suicide if you ignore a girl, especially for GF O_o

Clearly they don't love you enough. Everytime i ignore a GF or BF they eventually realize they've done something wrong and come back with apologize and how they'll stop b1tching so much. The trick is to see the argument coming, point it out, emphasize that your not the aggressor, walk away, and let them deal with it themselves. Then they come crawling back and you have great make-up time.
