GRRRRR, sometimes I notice that it lightens or darkens its luminosity...and now...when i look in the lower right corner, i can see an ever so faint greenish menace starting to claim my once proud 21" monitor. I bought this baby a few years ago for sro...went from 16" to 21 O_O and i loved it. But pretty soon it will be useless. Anyone have good sugesstions for a new one?

I remember a pic dom posted of his super sexy set up, and i might cry if he posts it again cuz that shit is hot

Buy a new one thats just like yours, place your old one in the case, and say its broken. Get a refund.

The serial numbers are stickers, you can just take the one off that moniter, and replace it with the new one.

If that doesn't work, just say it was your friends, and blame it all on him. He just moved to Mexico too, 1 way trip.

Anyway, I'd say it is your connection to your video card but that "green menace" makes me doubt it. I know that with one of my monitors at least, the DVI to VGA adapter is funky so it flickers every once in a while. That, and I've got a dead pixel... On a farking CRT.

Mine just recieved news of cancer hanging from the signal cables, were going tough right now, but we're getting through it!

I got the Samsung 223CW 23" to replace my 21" CRT (which still worked i just wanted to upgrade). I have had it for over a year now and it makes a great gaming monitor with a 2 ms response time.

EDIT:I was at work when i made this post, the correct model is 226BW

you could take it out back and get a new one

If you're going with LCD try to get something with low "dead pixel warranty" or whatever you call it, like Phillips.

Hmm i too am looking for a new monitor, perferably 21" Widescreen, i currently have a 19" Acer Widescreen, are the Samsung ones good?

Yeah I would, The correct model on it though is 226BW, I made that post while i was still at work so I didn't have it in front of me, But the pic is pretty much what it looks like.
