Started playing with a 3x3x3 one at a friends house last thanks giving. Ended up as a kinda joke, and he got me one as my secret santa for xmas. Solved in, eventually after a few days. So as one of the billions of little gifts from my gf for my bday, she got me a 4x4x4. Funny thing another friend of mine spends more time playing with it than I do. Hes amazing at them both now. Can't say I envy him though

I suck at the cube. I can finish it with a booklet that came with the cube, but that's kinda cheating. Without my booklet I'm lost thus my cube stays finished while dusting away.
I can barely get one side done, my Mum was pretty good though I think she finished it a few times. But DAMN 9 secs it takes me about 90 mins to do 1 side.

theres been a trick to it now where you no matter what the pattern is you get it to a certain arrangement and after a couple of turns you got it. Just takes pratice to get it really fast

yeah mines was somewhere around 1 minute.
Oh and what did you do to get yours so slippery?
mines pretty lubricated, since i dunked it in baby oil, and opened a peice of the cube and squirt lotion in there.

They were the trend when I was 12 years old, along with platform shoes and bellbottoms. I bought one but I lost it, i've been wanting to get a new one for a while but I don't know where.

I can usually do it under 3 minutes, but I used the layer method. I would do the corner method, but that's so much harder T.T

I still use that from time to time but now ive started to do the Fredrich intuative method. Cant be asked to learn like 42 algorythms for 2 layers.
