help me pick monitor

after i get job imma build a pc... dont wanna spend much on a monitor... should i go for 17inch widescreen or 19 inch reg?

cuz a 20inch would cost me a whole extra week... plus 20-22 inchs will cuz my games to run to slow... its not like im spending 1200$ on hardware to be able to max games on a max res... so 19inch or 17inch widescreen, or if i could find cheap 19inch widescreen is most i can do

because as your monitor gets bigger, so does your res, and when your res gets bigger, it takes more power... so it will cause games to run slower, trying to get a bigger, better res...

ehhh yes it does... the higger res ur running in a game, the slower the game will run... try it... get fraps and run a game in lowest res, and highest, and see the differeance in ur fps....

Don't build computers when you don't have sufficient knowlegde about the hardware, and the OS you're gonna run on them.

no i want to know what you think is wrong with vista... personally...
and please just trust me... if oyu run a game at higher res it will run slower... like i sro, once i put above 800 x 600, i drop below 20fps... at 800x 600 im about 25
