You can see whos taken you off their list using pidgin, pretty sure you can check whos blocked you too.

pidgin is, iirc, a messenger you can use for all messengers in one.
so you have msn, yahoo, whatever contacts all in 1 messenger program.

I did find this text-based Yahoo messenger client one time (I think it was called Zinc) that had this nice feature that lets you remove your name off of someone else's contact list. So say cin logged onto Yahoo and added me as one of his friends, I could type a quick command that would remove my name from his list.
