Wasnt that guy based in the US though? Most sro bots are Chinese made..harder to sue.

Its totally different Key.
There is little reason to bot in WoW.
Leveling to 70 is easy. Quests and instance dungeons with others get you a 70 in no time. A hardcore player can do it in a month.
The real meat of WoW is raiding.
Most of our "SOS" items cannot drop off regular mobs. The best gear only drops from raid dungeons, or arena rating points for your team.
There are
some "SOS equivalents" that can be bought and sold; but they are crafted items.
You could say, that a bot could get mob gold (which isnt nearly as much as the gold dropped from mobs in SRO) and buy materials for some of those "crafted equivelants" but you wont get a full suit of gear from crafted stuff. Some classes could get a few things, but not all 13 slots.
Most of our "SOS" items bind to you when you pick them up (or looted to you, by the raid leader) they cannot be traded or sold either. Gold is of little importance (to me anyway) once you buy your epic flying mount.
You cant buy the best stuff. My gold is used for potions and repairs.
Also, in my time during wow, I have never seen a bot. Ever. And if you did see a bot, you click the question mark icon to contact a GM, usually they respond in 10-20 minutes and you can tell them the person is botting and their acc get banned.
In example, I have no "tradable SOS's" on my character; all of it bind-on-pickup from raids (or heroic badge gear)

This is pretty old news, Blizz has taken action against Glider a long while back, I don't know why BBC is only reporting on this now.

Hmmm though mace expertise PLUS expertise from racial polly make far suprior weapon but
Thats ok.
Im so sick of having to 'pull strings' on gear to get 490 defense, the new za and 2.2 heroic shit aint got defense.
Once our sunwell badge gear unlocked, imma get chest and pant for HUGE defense add
Then I can go back to gemmin and enchanting shit the way I want it and wear things I like, not just cuz defense.

And, consider, cept for some more LV kills, we done with SSC.
Once I get big defense bonus on those new stuff I'll be able to change my talent tree again (woo woo)

Gawd, i wish our healers would heal people in the watery-graves at morogrim. So we could get on with SSC..
Killed alar, which is a huge amount harder then moro, but noooooh. we can't kill him.

Our typical healer count is 7; for morogrim its more like 8 or 9.
Put a resto druid on watery grave duty. He can hang out back there and never gets graved. Have em patch up the four people called out.
Also instruct people to TAKE THEIR TIME coming back to the raid; wait for a heal and use the bandage; its dumb to run back after a grave and get killed from earthquake. lol.

Yer, the healing is probably the whole problem.
Last time we we're with 5 healers (immense LOL).
And someone ninja-pulled morogrim, twice.
And we need to find some active resto druids.. we only have 1 semi active atm. I'm leveling one, since i'm an alt-aholic, but oh well, that's only 51 atm, and i started a gnome warrior which is so.. fun!..

Hehe, not only for the tanks. I usually go on my rogue to alar, since i can't be arsed to respec to soemthing else then fire every single time. And those bird spawns are soooooo boring.

very true. Which seems utter pointless too me. Since in higher raiding levels, shamans will be SO much more usefull then pally's. except the blessings ofc.

If get 2xT5 can be an arcane blaster. Then be in the s-priest+ele shaman group so you can AB all day and ignore the mana debuff. lol.
Ha ha, yeah. I like when they blow up the rogues killing the ads. And teh rogues all go flying. LOL. We put rogue on alar in phase 2 since adds are such a hassle.
