So heres what's up. My brothers friend Jeremy was in Alaska on a fishing boat. It was so dam cold there that the ocean froze over and they needed to chop ice off the sides of the boat constantly and break through ice. Bottom line, his boat sank killing 4 ppl and 1 missing. Below is the link to the official report of what happened. But What they don't say is that the reason the rudder room was taking on water was because it was sinking from the weight of the ice build up on the bottom and sides of the boat. The ice eventually got so built up that it literally weighed more than the boat. The Captian was the only one awake when it started tippping and sinking, so he sounded the alarm and woke everyone up. They all had 30 seconds to either get on their gear and leave with a chance to live, or jump without gear and die with a couple minuted from hypothermia. My brothers friend didn't make it to a life boat and ended up in alaskan water for 5 hours. By all rights he should be dead. But he survives along with the crew minus 4 ppl dead and 1 presumed dead. He is gonna be coming Home on friday this week, but still has barely any feelings in his legs.

Well they say he should get his feelings back. But he already has an appointment with a doctor as soon as he gets back to the states
