Ok so I have norton because it came with sbc yahoo dsl, and I'm trying to delete it, but it won't go away. I did everything, went into program file, went into the registry, and went online chat for their help. I even called them, and its not a real person, some stupid bot that does things when you say "yes" or "no". I picked "tech support" and then they give me baloney about installing the browser.

Will someone tell me how to delete it? please, I am pissed, i've spent at least 2 good hours of my life trying to kick it off my computer but its not going away. thanks

Pirated Norton 2001 version ftw.

I've used it for the past 8 years, and i've never had problems. It's extremely lite (had to be to run in 2001) and does what it's supposed to do very well. I had the new norton on my laptop, sucks cock. Too heavy and too many whistles, makes it worse than spyware. I was on "vacation" all weekend, all I really did was get baited into tech support for family and friends while I was there. One laptop and desktop I looked at had AVG and other "free" antivirus/spyware software, those blew big cock too.

If you don't want to pay then don't QQ about performance. You don't hear people crying that their $15,000 cars don't go fast enough.
