anyone got any more info on when starcraft 2 is comming out

It's supposedly this year. i think late 2008.

Protoss ftw, but I hated it when they removed the reaver. No more reaver drops.

Doubt it'll come out this year. I would bet spring of next year though.

Oh, and yeah. Go toss or go home.

Excited as well. Still waiting for the Zerg gameplay video.

yeah, they took out all the old units. It was a big disappointment cause I was expecting a remake thats in better graphics and I hoped that blizzard would throw in a few new ones to spice it up, but instead they redid the whole game

Some old units are there actually.

random new stuff:

-Battlecruiser has some new features.
-Zealots don't have the speed upgrade any more but they can use the speed skill which lasts for a few seconds.
-Mothership replaces the arbiters.
-Terran has transformers lol.
-Nydus canal now known as nydus worm can spawn anywhere in the map even in an enemy's base.
-Mutalisks still there but can't mutate into devourer/guardian anymore.

As opposed to silverbreed, and many stupid people on the net, I like the search feature. Very handy for not creating multiple threads for one subject, but again, that's just me.

Keeping up on gaming news ftw. A week ago bliz had another SC event showing off the zerg to the press. No official date but they were confident it'll come out this year.

All the SC forums I go to / WoW forum about SC2 think Bliz will take a while to release and I personally think it will be next year, of course I'd love for them to prove me wrong >.>

Actually, the science vessel was changed into the "Nomad" carries the same funcion as the vessel but now it can also build land turrets.

Carriers werent removed either. The ultralisk has a kickass new look and carries another pair of blades. :O

Just look at the new zerg trailer at the official website. They give a huge preview on the units.

The best thing of all is the UNLIMITED SELECTION. Moving an entire army was a farking bitch seeing as you only have 10 keys to hotkey to in SC1. Now you can select 200 units :O

ROFL queens can now attack. They poke the crap out of you and they don't fly any more but walk.

I like using protoss and zerg, but terran just requires so much micro to be able to execute a perfect push.

I'm hoping they could raise the population cap since we can select an unlimited amount of units at a time. It'd be awseom if they could remake the popular SC1 maps for SC2 as well. For exmaple, parnoid android, lost temple, python, estrella, gaia, etc, etc.

dispite my name, i use zerg by far the most. Quantity>Quality to me :O

Although I liked WC3's play style more than SC's play style I've loved SC since I first played it in like 7th grade and for the 1-2 years I played it online. I'm just hoping that I can get a computer that can run SC2 before it comes out.

(same time with diablo lol ) im a pure ZERGian hahaha!! holy cow ...i could still remember the cheats!! especially and my most faivorite cheat of all >>>> there is no cow level

Yeah, everyone usually has a race they prefer, but its always good to know how to play them all. was 2v1 by my friends the other day and while I do Protoss always, figured Zerg would be fun since it was a Fastest map. Had constant waves of mobs moving out of my base the entire game with all the hatcheries I had going. Was so fun haha. I hope I can run SC2 tho easily -.-
