Just finished working and i'm totally exhausted.

Been talking SH!T to people for 6 hours straight. My mouth feels like a freaking desert.

Really farked up, working in a Callcenter. But than again, i get payed € 7,80 and im only 17 years old, so that's pretty much

it depends on what callcenter you're working for.

all callcenter that answer questions and stuff like that is called a customer service callcenter. i work for a selling callcenter, so i have to call people and ask them if they're interested in what we have to offer.

I did it once for a summer and i'll never do it again. Theres alot of retarded people out there

today sold 1 1-year contract and 2 3-year contracts, so pretty good

My aim is 1 customer every 2 hours, and today i worked 6 hours, so 6:2=3, exactly the amount of customers i got today

Well, if you ever call someone and the one you call picks up without saying something, that could be me.

I was gonna do it a few years ago.. pretty good assed pay for an entry level assed job and free cell phone plan but after hearing all of my friend's horror stories (there was some program at shcool where you would work there and it would count for a grade or some sh1t like that) i was like.. fk this sh1t son.

2 of my friends did it.

they both quit when they found out they were selling crap services
and policies to naive old people. basically, they were scamming
people and got paid for it.

not saying its always like that, but thats what i've heard.

yup, understand.

callcenters tend to have this bad scamming 'aura', but what we're selling is acutually kind of profitable for the people, so it's cool for me.

I've worked in a callcenter twice.

First project was selling health insurances, second project was calling people to see if their mail was delivered correctly.

Both times I got sick and tired of it, both times my payment sucked hard for the work I did and for my age. Minimum wage wasn't enough for me for that kind of shit job.

Yeah but it really depends on what you call for. :S

Calling people to check if they got their mail is easy so its horrible pay. When I become 20 this year I get like 30-40% more wage though, the gap between the pay check of a 19 and a 20 year old is pretty big.

When I was 17 I called for the health insurances, and I have to mention that paid about the same as for you though. 7 something / hr. So I kinda put that wrong in my previous post, that pay was nice. The job sucked hard though lol.

This is what I think about callcenters calling me...

I always say that I will listen and then I just lie the phone down.

And after 10 min I put it back on the charger, hoping they hang up xD

rofl i always prey to god that people will do that

cuz than it's easier for me, i'm not allowed to hang up and i don't have to do anything.

so that would be a 10 mins break for me
