For some reason most people have never heard of MLG. o.O
what is MLG you ask if you don't know it stands for Major League Gaming. This company host different games for tournaments where people around the world can compete for a lot of cash. Or even better get sponsor by MLG and receive a nice fat check. MLG started like 5yrs ago it was more of this underground thing that has evolved into this huge company. heres the link

Yea MLG owns, I learned alot about h2 and h3 off of watching FB tactics (Quad shot, duble shot, BxR, BYB, etc.)

Unless you are outstanding at COD4, I really do not think you will go pro. This happened alot with the halo series that is why they hosted those tournaments, "Play with the Ogres!".
Kids thought that they could play against pro's and actually go pro. With COD4, honestly that game is so easy. Pick up and m16 and you tarnish people with 2-3 shots. I don't mean to dash your hopes but those pro's dedicate all of their freetime towards the game.
If you dont already, goto the COD4 forums on mlg's forums and play with the fake MLG games that those kids host. If you can't beat them by vast numbers, chances are you aren't going to make it pro. I thought the same way with halo 2, I was rather good. Than halo 3 came around and I was alot better, I figured hell I will enter MLG and hopefully go pro.
I entered a MLG event, played with some of the top kids in my area, went to the event and got destroyed. The kids who play amatuer in those tournaments are insanely good as well.

Eh? Mostly anyone who is good at a console game that MLG supports has heard of them. After Halo 2 days I kind of lost touch and stopped keeping track, it's nice to see they have CoD4 up there though.
