I really have nothing to say about this, but I just wanted to lay it out there in hopes of starting an interesting discussion.
So supposedly this guy was Noah's great-grandfather.
Theres plenty of other writings from different authors that haven't been added to The Bible, but does that mean that these scriptures aren't as valid as the ones compiled in The Bible?
I myself don't see a reason not to believe the writings of this man as much as I would believe in the ones written in The Bible. I strongly believe that religious groups edited, cut, and added parts of The Bible as they saw fit. But I haven't lived for 1000 years, so what do I know?

    Discuss.

Why has there been only one post before me so far? Because the threadmaker has made a fail post. Not necessarily the subject (another exhausting religious e-fight), but your stance on the issue, which, as you said, doesn't exist. You simply can't tell people to "discuss" when theres no POV to build on/refute/agree.

ignore pilot. If you have good information and its controversial or debatable thats all you need to get a response. Of course if ppl are to dumb to form there own opinions then you'll need to jump start them.

That being said tl;dr that wiki article about noah grand whatever....topics just boring is all maybe it wouldn't be if i knew more about it but until i see a summary *yawn* srry draq

Precisely why I didn't make an opinion. I know little about this subject, and I doubt there are many who actually do, and for those that do, well, I didn't want to become cannon fodder for them.

The entire Bible is controversial, as is the whole concept of religion itself. We would have to start there before even discussing minute detail of Noah, who probably didn't even exist at all.
