I'll ask again is anyone around here using this LAPTOP? I've reviewed this machine 2 or 3 times and I keep coming up with a favorable opinion. Does it run SRO and comparable games very nicely? If you dont know what a laptop is or never heard of Asus then you have no need to post here. Thank you.

No I haven't heard of a laptop but yes it does run games well.

this laptop could run multiple silkroads very very nicely lol or eaven greater games than silkroad. It has good value for the tech thats packt in it...

I guess I should have added, "if you can't read dont post" also...btw, you are offering what useful reviews or first-hand experience regarding the Asus G1S?

Well hate to break it to you i haven't ran across anyone in the tech biz who referred to it as a LT. The ASUS laptops are rather nice, but your paying more for the brand and their popularity. However i do believe the G1S-A1 variant had a 5400 RPM HDD. Not sure if the other variants do or not, and they tend to get hot rather fast so if your at home pick up a cooler and cant forget how bloated it is, but thats will all pre built manu computers.

Ok, so I need to apologize for something? That's fine, I'm sorry for using what I thought was a logical abbreviation (LT) for the word laptop ( I don't work in the "tech biz" that's why I'm seeking first hand experience input and honestly didn't think it was that ignorant). I can read reviews like everyone else and have done so but still thought that actual one on one with someone woould be beneficial. I'm sorry for assuming that the title of the post (Asus G1S) would attract only persons who knew what it was and were interested in the thread and would not be confused by my abbreviation knowing that it was a laptop. And lastly I apologize for posting on something that is not relevant to SRO apparently and wasting your time. Oh, and I AM sorry for insulting anyone if I did that. I felt that I was being unjustly insulted myself over something that didn't really warrant the type of response I was getting. And to those of you who just posted relevant info and went on, I thank you.
