Hulu has officially opened to the public.

it's got really nice quality, and an HD section.
You can't upload stuff onto it, so its not a youtube substitute. But they have contracts with FOX, NBC, etc.
Over 50 companies in all lined up so you get quality programs whenever. It's like a 'better' tv-links.

cool thing too is you can embed their vids into blogs or w/e, and you can also crop segments of the videos and only share that part.

if the whole world had access then it would be proplem casue

to much streaming at 1 time = Server Crash
They might allow Europe to come sometime i dunno if it will stay US Only but i hope it dosent it looks pretty neat

i dno if you can watch the vids with proxies, thats a shame though its actually really damn good quality. Best i've seen since stage6.

Remember most of the world gets our shows very late. They don't want people to be able to see newer shows before a station there gets it.

As for those moaning outside the US. Alot of the content is from TV channels like fox, programs like prison break/desperate housewives. They wouldn't be able to sell television rights to channels in the UK if they are airing on the net for free 3 months before they even aired in the UK.
